Oxford woman jailed on probation violation

A 49-year-old Oxford woman was jailed this past week on a probation violation.

Jacquelyn Hamilton Vaughn was booked Thursday evening at the Sumter County Detention Center and released Friday after posting $1,500 bond.

She was arrested twice last year. In May 2015, she was arrested after attempting to conceal chicken tenders in her purse. You can read about that arrest HERE. She was also arrested in July 2105 on drug charges. You can read about that arrest HERE
