Two women were arrested after they allegedly concealed merchandise in their handbags and attempted to leave Wal-Mart without paying for it.

Lauren Marie Musumeci, 34, of Summerfield, and Silvia Veronica Quintero, 34, also of Summerfield, entered the store at Buffalo Ridge Plaza on Memorial Day afternoon and put the items in their handbags, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
