Villagers Sam and Nadine Landis are hoping Villagers will join them at Saturday’s pancake breakfast.

A pancake breakfast Saturday morning at RJ Gators will support the Kids, Cops & Christmas program of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The breakfast will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the restaurant at Lake Sumter Landing.

Villagers Sam and Nadine Landis will once again be spearheading the event.

Kids, Cops & Christmas helps provide a Merry Christmas for area children in need. It also provides some interaction between these children and deputies in an effort to build a better long-term relationship.

Saturday’s menu features all-you-can-eat pancakes and coffee as well as sausage and orange juice. A $6 donation is requested.

It will also be an opportunity for residents to get rid of unused medications through Operation Medicine Chest.
