Parrot Heads to host blood drive in remembrance of 9/11

The Parrot Heads Club of The Villages will host a blood drive Friday in remembrance of the terrorists attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

The blood drive will take place at Villages Public Safety Fire Station #44 located at 3035 Morse Blvd., across from the Sarasota Practice Range.

All donors will receive a 9/11 blood donor T-shirt, hotdogs and cheeseburgers, and a wellness check.
All Alyx (double red cell) donors will receive a Rialto Theater movie ticket.

All blood types are needed. There is a critical need for O Negative, A Negative and B Negative blood.

Walk-ins will be welcome and appointments honored.
