‘Partners for Success’ to be held at Lake-Sumter State Leesburg Campus

Lake County Economic Development, in partnership with Lake County Schools, Lake Technical College, Beacon College and Lake-Sumter State College, is inviting local businesses, community leaders and the public to attend the fourth Annual “Partners for Success” event on March 28. . The event will be held in the Lake-Sumter-State College, Leesburg campus gymnasium from 5 to 7 p.m.. There is no cost to attend.

The mission of the event is to bring together our local businesses and future workforce with the goal of improving communication and developing a teamwork approach to success for our students and businesses. Helping businesses find skilled employees and education partners find advisors for their programs is a major initiative of this event. Internships and job-shadowing opportunities for Lake County students are additional goals for the evening.

All individuals wanting to learn more about Lake County’s future employees, interested in learning what and how workplace skills are taught and interested in how they might participate in the process are invited to attend Tuesday evening’s event.
