Avid Reader, Animal Lover, Eccentric Art Collector and strong supporter of the Republican Party. Patricia A. Kolb was best known for her profound beauty, engaging personality and her philanthropic work. Born May 13, 1939 in Mississippi and raised in Memphis TN, many knew her well by her southern drawl and enticing stories around Elvis. No person could walk through the front door of her home without hearing her infamous welcome: ‘Hello Dahrlin’!’
In her youth, she taught many on how to take care of themselves, often providing advice on vitamins or essential oils. Her love of animals began early and typically included 2-3 dogs in her dwelling at any given time, along with her parakeets. Patricia’s taste in art was envied by many and crossed various different cultures and religions. While born of the Jewish faith, she never shunned those with different beliefs.
Patricia never held back in supporting the causes she believed in. She was well recognized for her tireless commitment and dedication to the United Jewish Appeal organization, which inspires Jewish life by helping those in need and strengthening the global community. While raising her girls in Englewood Cliffs, NJ she donated tremendously to the Moriah School of Englewood, even donating the Mezuzahs that adorned the doorways of the classrooms. She gave to her political party and she vehemently supported the work of the ASPCA to protect the animals she so adored.
