Patrick Doherty

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Doherty announce his passing on March 27, 2017. Patrick Doherty, of The Villages, FL, has been well known and respected for his spirit, caring, talent and many friendships. He has entertained in The Villages both as an MC and singer. He ran a successful business in Canada for over 40 years. He is the beloved father of three daughters who live in Canada, which had been his home previously. They are Sarah Scala (Tony), Martina Doherty, and Elizabeth Doherty (Peter). He was so proud of his 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild, that all reside in Canada. Five years ago Patrick met Sue Farley, a resident of The Villages, and they were married this Christmas. Patrick was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and was a true Irishman always with a smile, handshake and a song to share.

Visitors can come pay their final respects at a Celebration of Life at North Lake Presbyterian Church, 975 Rolling Acres Rd., Lady Lake, FL on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
