Pauletta Russell Barron, of The Villages, FL, died at The Villages Hospice, July 7, 2016. Pauletta was born in Gainesville, TX on December 12, 1940 to Paul Victor Russell and Bertie Ladell Parsons Russell of Sherman. TX. The four boys in the family include Garry Russell of Savoy, TX and Larry Russell of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico and preceded in death by brothers Bobby and Donald.
She married Joseph Anthony Barron who was killed while on USAF active duty. They adopted two sons; Donald with wife Maria and Christopher with wife Crystal who live in the Ft. Lauderdale area. She loved her two grandsons, Austin and Joseph.
Pauletta and her partner moved to The Villages in August 2004 and enjoyed cruises and RV trips. She is greatly missed.
Pauletta held a number of government service positions most notably one, which put her in meetings attended by the Shah of Iran. She traveled widely with consulting companies implementing System Applications Products for businesses.
Pauletta loved to cook and enjoyed the company of neighbors and members of her bible study class. She’s best known and remembered by her kind, friendly, out-going personality.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 1 – 3 p.m. Her final resting place will be in Sherman, TX.
