Peggy W. McCarty, 80, The Villages, FL, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015. A Funeral Eucharist will be held at 10:00 am Saturday December 12, 2015 at St. Alban’s Anglican Church 625 W. Lady Lake Blvd. (next to American Legion at CR-466 and Rolling Acres Rd. Peggy was born in Campbell County, VA on December 2, 1934 to Fred Earl Wright and Louise Fonkhowitzer Wright. She moved to The Villages from Smyrna, DE in 2002 with her husband Dick. Peggy was a charter member of St. Alban’s Anglican Church of Lady Lake, where she was the organist for many years. She was predeceased by her parents; stepfather Warren Pershing Liford; and her husband of 34 years, Richard H. McCarty. Peggy is survived by 2 stepdaughters: Kathy Morrow and her husband Lewis of Millerstown, PA and Nancy Sutton and her husband William of Leesburg, VA; five step-grandchildren and three step-great-grand-children. Funeral services will be held at St. Albans Anglican Church 10 a.m., December 12, 2015. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial donations be made to St. Alban’s Anglican Church, 625 W. Lady Lake Blvd, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
