Pennsylvania man arrested after crossing U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in golf cart

A Pennsylvania man was arrested after he was spotted crossing U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in a golf cart.

Michael J. Dimaulo, 38, of Fairless Hills, Pa. had been at the wheel of a golf cart at about 2 a.m. Tuesday that had been traveling on Avenida Central, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The non-Street Legal golf cart crossed U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and continued onto Griffin Avenue.

During a traffic stop, the police officer discovered that Dimaulo’s Pennsylvania driver’s license was suspended. He was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
