Police seek information about woman who allegedly stole liquor at Publix

The Wildwood Police Department has issued an appeal to the public, seeking information about another suspect who is believed to have stolen liquor from Publix.

The woman was captured on video surveillance Jan. 19 at Publix Liquor Store at Grand Traverse Plaza.

Last week, police issued a similar request regarding two men who used different distraction techniques to avoid a clerk and steal several bottles of liquor from the same store. That incident occurred Friday, Jan. 29. Video surveillance captured images of the two men. One of the men spoke with a Jamaican accent.

Anyone with information about either of the incidents is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at the Wildwood Police Department at 330-1355, ext. 243.
