Police seize tag of vehicle driven by man with suspended license

Law enforcement seized the tag of a vehicle being driven by a man with a suspended driver’s license.

Kurt Drechsler Jr., 31, of Summerfield, had been at the wheel of a 2016 Kia Forte on Tuesday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and Griffin Avenue when he was pulled over by a Lady Lake police officer. The police officer determined that Drechsler’s driver’s license had been suspended as of Aug. 1.

The officer seized the license plate and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Drechsler was issued a criminal citation and has been ordered to appear in Lake County Court on Nov. 7.
