Lake County sheriff’s detectives arrested a Eustis man Saturday afternoon on seven counts of capital sexual battery on a child less than 12 years of age, six counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, four counts of sexual performance by a child, and one count of sexual battery.  The arrest was made after homemade, sexually explicit videos were found on the man’s work-issued cell phone.

Jason Michael High, 35, of 22419 Orange Blossom Lane in Eustis, was recently terminated from his employment with a local pool service company.  Upon the owner’s taking possession of the work phone that was issued to him, the owner found a sexually explicit video of a child, at which time he contacted the sheriff’s office and turned the phone over to detectives.

Detectives found several videos that were recently made inside High’s home in which High is seen committing sexual battery on young girls, possibly between the ages of 6-10 years old, during what appears to be sleepovers.

A search warrant was served at High’s residence as detectives work to gather additional evidence and ascertain the identity of all the children in the videos.

High was transported to the Lake County Detention Center. He is being held without bond.
