Jack Jones, who was known as the announcer for the Prime Time Twirlers, will be remembered during two gatherings on Thursday.
Jones passed away on Good Friday, April 14.
He was married for 47 years to Elin Jones, captain of the Prime Time Twirlers.
He was a loving father, grandfather and devoted husband.
His face and voice are familiar to everyone who watched the Prime Time Twirlers perform in The Villages.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and had worked as an account executive at ABF Freight System.
At 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18 there will be a military service at Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell. It will be followed by a Celebration of Life from 4 to 8 p.m. at Colony Cottage Recreation Center.
