Purse containing Rosaries stolen Sunday at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church

A purse containing Rosaries was stolen Sunday morning at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Summerfield.

A 70-year-old woman reported that her purse had been taken between 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. from a vesting room at the church located on SE Hwy. 42 in Summerfield, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. 

In addition to her Rosaries, the purse contained the woman’s cell phone, car keys, credit cards, Medicare card, AARP card, cash, Social Security card and Florida driver’s license.
