A 22-year-old manager from Nancy Lopez Country Club and 26-year-old employee of red sauce restaurant were arrested New Year’s Eve at Margarita Republic in Spanish Springs Town Square.

Brandon Robert Parrish and Shaliese R. Shyrigh, who both reside at 301 Oak Lane in Ocala, were arrested on charges of simple battery, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The couple allegedly began to get into a scuffle with security personnel and Lady Lake police were called.

Parrish works at red sauce in Lake Sumter Landing. Shyrigh works at Lopez country club.

Both were booked at the Lake County Jail. Each posted $500 bond.

They are due for arraignment Jan. 20 in Lake County Court.
