Removal of signage on Historic Side

To the Editor:

To the person or persons on the Historic Side that have taken it upon themselves to remove signs on private property: you are committing two crimes.
You are not the police, or judge. You are guilty of stealing and trespassing on private property, both are subject to fine and/or jail. If you have an issue with any signage it is not your job to remove the sign, call Community Standards, they have the proper authority to take care of the issue.
If you really have an issue with signage why be such a coward with your actions? Be polite and go talk with the homeowner. Community Standards phone number is 352-751-3912.
