Repeat DUI offender sentenced to 30 days in jail

A 33-year-old Wildwood man is serving 30 days in the Lake County Jail on his most recent drunk driving charge.

was arrested in November after a police officer observed a probation interlock device attached to the dashboard of his vehicle and a paper bag containing a Smirnoff ICE Screwdriver in a bottle. You can read more about that arrest HERE

On Jan. 28 in Lake County Court, Houck entered a plea of no contest to a charge of DUI impairment third offense.

In addition to 30 days in jail, he will lose his driver’s license for 12 months and will serve 12 months probation. His vehicle will have an ignition interlock for two years.
