A new club in The Villages – Republicans for Hillary – has been created.
The group will have its first meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at Manatee Recreation Center.
“I created the group as I know so many Republicans that cannot and will not vote for Trump,” said Villager Linda Fogg, a lifelong Republican.
“Like many of us, we have not voted for a Democrat at the top of the ticket. We are not alone,” she added.
A daughter of Robert Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, said in a Facebook post this week that former Republican President George H.W. Bush told her he’s voting for Hillary Clinton.
