THE VILLAGES – Richard Glendon Hardison, 71, passed from this life, Sunday December 22, 2013. Born in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Henry and Rose (Fort) Hardison. Richard was a Certified Public Accountant and owned the All Freight Trucking Co. of Winchester, VA. He and his wife Kathleen came to The Villages from Winchester, VA in 2007. He was a Christian and attended of the Oxford Assembly of God Church. He was a member of the Bicycle Club, The Villages and enjoyed pickle ball and golf. Richard found great joy in his marriage of 45 years to his wife, Kathleen and their children and grandchildren. Richard leaves his wife, Kathleen, son, Seth Hardison and wife Amy, daughter Diane Johnson all of Winchester, VA, and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by Funeral Services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Derrell Strickland officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, VA.
