Robert Elmore Baumeister, 88, of Lady Lake, passed away surrounded by family on May 25, 2016. Bob served in the US Navy during WWII and was very proud of the fact that all 3 children served in the military. He met and married the love of his life after he left the military. They raised their children in Freehold NJ for 20+ years. He was very involved in his children’s activities and became treasurer of Pop Warner. He retired from PSE&G after 40 years of dedicated service and moved to the Villages with his wife. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, pool, and taking part in vast activities. He also liked to travel and spend time with his family. He most enjoyed when his grandchildren and great grandchildren were around. He was known to be a kind gentle man and well loved.
Bob is predeceased by his wife Mary and sister Dorothy. He is survived by his 2 sons Bob (Beth) and Mark (Antionette) and his daughter Nancy (Bill), grandchildren Ryan, Danielle, Tiffany, & Will, great grandchildren Jaquelynn, Johnathon, & Jasmine, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL on Tuesday May 31, 2016 at 10:30AM. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 12:30PM. Memorial donations may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages FL 32162.
