Robert ‘Moe’ Phillips

Robert ‘Moe’ Phillips of Lady Lake, FL, passed from this life after a short but courageous fight against cancer on August 7, 2015 surrounded by his devoted family. Moe is survived by his loving wife Kathleen, son Perry, beloved grandchildren Natalie and Austin, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Donna Ward (Redmond Ryan), Mary Ann Roberts (Bernard), Patti Hepler (Alan), dearest cousin Mort and nieces and nephews. Moe was a Boilermaker-Pittsburgh Local No. 154 for over 35 years traveling to many states across the country and forming lifelong friendships along the way. He once stated that if you can say that a man was just a good guy that your life was complete. The family will receive relatives and friends at a Gathering to be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL, on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778-9648.
