Robert Wesley Gilson

Robert Wesley Gilson, 74, of The Villages, FL, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2017. He was originally from Albany, NY. 

Bob was proud to have served in the Navy during the Vietnam War His grandparents immigrated from Scotland and Ireland and he is a member of the McPherson Clan.

Bob is survived by his wife Mary; his children, Bobby and wife Laura Stevens, Tricia Won and her husband Raymond Won, Melissa Sylvain and her husband Raynold Sylvain; his brother, David Gilson and sister-in-law Linda, and 5 grandchildren.

Bob will be buried with Military Honors on Friday, July 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
