The Villages Recreation Department’s popular road race program will soon launch “Running at the Squares.”
On the drawing board are upcoming 5K races at Spanish Springs Town Square, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood Paddock Square. The recreation department is finalizing dates, routes and approvals.
“Were going to spice it up a little bit,” John Rohan of the Villages Recreation Department said. “So start training now.”
Past 5K road races have taken place at Lake Sumter Landing and the Villagse Polo Fields.
