Scott K. Parrish, age 58, of Leesburg, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Leesburg, Florida after being struck by a vehicle. Scott was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to the Leesburg area in 2011 from Miami, Florida. He worked as a Clerk and Cashier for the Winn-Dixie grocery store in Leesburg. Scott is remembered by those close to him as a person who made friends easily and loved to make people laugh. He was happiest when he was working and did not like to be idle. One of his gifts were computers and loved spending his free time online. He will be remembered most for his pride in his son Matthew and his achievements in music. He is survived by his mother – Caryl of Leesburg; a sister – Janet Middlebrook/Parrish of Torrington, Connecticut; and his son Matthew and daughter-in-law Justine Parrish of Chicago. A Private placement of Scott’s urn will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida.
