Now a second report has emerged, this one in the Village of Springdale.

A man had been working in his garage on Tuesday at his home on Clemson Circle when a black woman wearing a T-shirt with the lettering “deputy sheriff” approached him, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

She asked the man if he had seen any suspicious vehicles in the neighborhood. She suggested that she should enter his home and check the doorlocks. When the man asked to see some identification, the woman got into her car and drove away.

The woman was described as 5 feet, eight inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
