A second man has been arrested in the weekend drugging and sexual assault that sent a local woman to Leesburg Regional Medical Center.

William RC Lolley, 29, of Oxford, was arrested Tuesday by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies on charges of aggravated battery and larceny. He was released Wednesday morning on $10,500 bond.

Previously arrested in the case was 28-year-old Dustin Mayo of Wildwood. He is being held at the Sumter County Detention Center on $107,000 bond. You can read about his arrest HERE

In the continuation of the investigation, a deputy went to a Wildwood residence looking for Lolley. A woman at the residence said she had kicked him out after the events of the previous weekend. The woman had been at the house where the victim had been drugged. The woman told the deputy that the victim was naked and appeared highly impaired. The woman said she was “bothered” by what she had seen and left Lolley at the residence, the arrest report indicated. Lolley later showed up at the woman’s residence in different clothes and with the victim’s wallet, driver’s license and credit card. The woman turned the wallet, driver’s license and credit card over to the deputy.

A deputy then tracked down Lolley who said he had had consensual sex with the victim. He denied any knowledge of having had the victim’s wallet, driver’s license and credit card.

Lolley had been arrested in 2015 at Lake Sumter Landing. You can read about that arrest HERE
