The State Emergency Response Team (SERT) is collecting data to help potentially effect the amount of hurricane relief funds Lake County businesses should receive.
Florida Virtual Business Emergency Operations Center (FVBEOC) is encouraging business owners to complete the Business Damage Assessment Survey to provide damage information related to their business. The level of disaster relief services needed by state businesses is largely unknown. This is not an application for assistance, but rather, data to help the State allocate funds.
There are quite a few emergency loan types that businesses benefit from depending on their damages: emergency short-term loans up to $25,000; physical disaster business loans for uninsured losses up to $2,000,000, and economic injury disaster loans, among others.
Loans up to $2,000,000 are available for small businesses that sustain economic injury as a direct result of a disaster.
