Sheila E. Nathanson, 74, of Lady Lake, FL passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Mrs. Nathanson was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Lady Lake from Staten Island in 1980. She was of Jewish faith, enjoyed fishing, knitting, needle point, crocheting, pinball and going to the casino. She was also athletic and played stickball. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Melvyn; 2 sons, Ed (Maura) Nathanson of Lady Lake and Mike (Lori) Nathanson of Leesburg; sister, Susan (Seymour) Rosenberg of Long Island; 6 grandchildren, Cassidy, Casey, Chelcea, Timothy, Brandon, and Alexis as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Eric Nathanson and 2 grandchildren, Shea and Kyle. Services for Mrs. Nathanson will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 10 a.m., at the chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, 134 N. Hwy 27/441, Lady Lake with burial to follow at the Lady Lake Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Lane Purcell Hospice House, 2452 CR 526 E, Sumterville, FL 33585.
