Sheriff’s deputies investigating two deaths in the Village of Glenbrook

Autopsies are scheduled for Saturday morning for two deaths in the Village of Glenbrook. A man and woman were found dead Friday afternoon in their home in the Village of Glenbrook.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at about 6 p.m. Friday and entered a home in the 1600 block of Oak Forest Drive.

Inside they found the pair deceased. The man had a . 38-caliber handgun in his grasp.

Early indications are it may have been a murder-suicide.

Yellow crime scene tape encircled the home Friday afternoon.

Crime scene technicians were on the scene, trying to put together what had occurred.
