Shirley Ruth Stevenson Berryman Hauring

Shirley Ruth Stevenson Berryman Hauring, 82, of Lady Lake, FL, passed away at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, FL on May 8, 2015. Shirley was born in Detroit, MI in 1933 to Lacy and Stella Stevenson. After leaving home at age 17, she worked at AT&T in Detroit for two years and then left Detroit at age 21. She resided in both Calumet and Hancock, Michigan and was married to Gordon Berryman from 1954-1976. Shirley worked at the Houghton, MI Sears for 29 years. She retired in 1989 and moved with her second husband, Arthur Gordon Hauring, to Lady Lake, FL. She and Arthur were married in May of 1982 until his passing in 1999. Preceding her in death are her parents and her brother, Thomas. Shirley is survived by a nephew, John Stevenson in Warren, MI; a step daughter Susan (Ronald) Reeves in Mystic, CT and a step daughter JoAnne (David) Stefanac in Port Orchard, WA as well as several step grandchildren. Final interment will take place at a later time.
