Shopping carts

To the Editor:

Today at Winn-Dixie (near Sumter Landing) I saw a perfectly able-bodied woman leave her grocery cart in her parking space after loading her groceries into her SUV. I got out of my car and caught her eye and pointed to the cart. She just shrugged, like the entitled woman I guess she thinks she is, and drove away. I returned the cart. I am new to The Villages, but have noticed this behavior over and over again. Why do Villagers believe they are entitled to do this? Not even millennials would act so callously toward their neighbors.
