Six-inch golf holes will be offered every day throughout the month of September exclusively at El Santiago Executive Golf Course.

This will continue an ongoing experiment with larger golf holes.

On the days the six-inch golf holes were offered at El Santiago earlier this summer, more people played the course than on “normal” days, said Erik Greulach of Golf Management Solutions.

Thus, the decision to have six-inch holes in place every day during the month of September at El Santiago.

It is part of a nationwide trend to make golf more accessible to a larger audience.

Greulach said many are turned off by the difficulty of golf.
