Skyler Nicole Kornegay, 15, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. Miss Kornegay was born in Leesburg September 9, 2001. She was a freshman student at South Sumter High School and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her mother, Amy Strickland of Wildwood; father, Russell Kornegay of Ocala; step-father, Doug Strickland of Lake Panasoffkee; sisters, Aubrey Strickland of Lake Panasoffkee and Kyle Strickland of Lake Panasoffkee; brothers, Tristen Kornegay of Inverness and Jaiden Hall of Wildwood; grandparents, Tanya Mikeals of Wildwood, Robert Mikeals of Lake Panasoffkee, Robert Kornegay of Trinton and Mary Conway of Wildwood; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment following in Adamsville Cemetery.
