Sobina Louise Crane

Sobina Louise Crane, aged 70, passed away suddenly at her home in the Villages on March 14, 2015. She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on March 28, 1944 to William Thompson and Sobina Louise (Edwards) Thompson. She moved to the Villages from Westminster, MD in February 2006. She loved Florida and living in the Villages. She enjoyed scrapbooking, making pine needle baskets and being involved in the Villages Shuffleboard League as a team captain. She was also an avid reader of mystery novels. Being a former paralegal she was also very interested in the legal system and how it worked. She is survived by her loving husband of over 51 years, Gary Crane, three daughters, Michelle Miller (Greg) of Reston VA, Nicole Crane of Hanover, PA, Krista Muhles (Paul) of Hampstead, MD, 6 grandchildren – James, Aaron, Timothy, Lauren, Madison and Jacob, sisters Karen Daniel of Woodbridge, VA, Robin Rother of Woodbridge, VA and Paula Williams of Orlando, FL and her beloved dog, Sydney. Per Sobina’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial services. Consider donations to the Sumter County Humane Society in her honor.
