Social Security ‘running out of money,’ but welfare is going strong

To the Editor:

Let’s start off with a couple facts.
1) A lot of people don’t like President Trump, simply because he isn’t a Democrat.
2) The Democrat side of the isle is intentionally blocking anything the republicans put forth.
What the bottom line is, there are a whole bunch of people in Washington, wasting our tax dollars, for doing nothing.
Their Job #1 in Washington D.C., should be pass a budget. I think that it would speed things up if the government were to withhold their pay until the have a budget.
I also feel that this Social Security scam about Social Security going broke could be corrected in a matter of days, by simply taking away their salary for life, and make them start paying into, and live on Social Security once they turn of age to collect.
Oh, and one other question we should be asking. Why is Social Security we have already paid for running out of money, yet welfare, that isn’t already paid for, going strong?
Write to your elected representatives and ask questions, and demand answers!
