The Villages Marine Corps League Detachment 1267, the Colonel Phillip C. Delong Detachment, will hold the 13th Annual Terry Cannon Toys for Tots Golf Classic, benefiting the Toys for Tots Foundation.
“We fully expect this year’s tournament to surpass last year’s total of over $31,000 at this outing. Our goal is to have some fun and collect funds to support this year’s Toys for Tots Program. Through your support, we are well on our way to providing a Merry Christmas to needy tri-county area children,” said Golf Committee Chairman Fred Geier.
This year’s tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, when 328 golfers from throughout the area converge on Havana Country Club to play golf and participate in the tournament.
This year’s entry fee is $80 per golfer. Although the tournament is filling up fast, there are still some open tee times available.
After golf there will be an awards dinner at SeaBreeze Recreation Center at 6:30 p.m.
