A 39-year-old Summerfield man was arrested after fleeing from the scene of two separate accidents Thursday night.

Ryan Joseph Clark had been at the wheel of a 2004 Dodge Dakota at about 10 p.m. on County Road 42 west of County Road 467 in Marion County when he ran off the road and struck a fence, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. He left his wife, 43-year-old Trisha Leeann Clark, at the scene.

At 10:15 p.m., Clark was involved in a second crash when his vehicle hit a 2005 Chrysler driven by 46-year-old Wendy Ann Lanier of Summerfield. She and her two passengers, 20-year-old Courtney Eyes and infant Benjamin Eyes, escaped injury.

Clark fled the scene, but was arrested later at his home in Summerfield.

He is facing two felony counts of driving while license revoked and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.
