Summerfield man arrested while riding moped in The Villages

Jeff Nicolini, 50, of Summerfield bonded out of the Marion County Jail on Wednesday following his arrest while riding a moped in The Villages.

Nicolini was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office while riding a moped on 16900 SE Buena Vista Boulevard.

At the time of the arrest, the moped Nicolini was riding did not have a proper registration tag.

According to the arrest report, a computer check revealed Nicolini’s license had been suspended “several times” due to arrests, the most recent for driving under the influence.

He was transported to the Marion County Jail.
