A 63-year-old Summerfield man has been arrested by Marion County sheriff’s deputies on a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child.
Eligio Cardon is charged in an incident allegedly involving a 9-year-old girl.
Originally, deputies had been called to the scene because of a fight. The girl’s father reportedly got into a fight with Cardon.
Cardon was booked Wednesday into the Marion County Jail.
