A 35-year-old Summerfield woman is facing charges of burglary and grand theft after she allegedly loaded items owned by her mother into a U-Haul truck.

Kathleen Helen Vansant and a co-hort, 23-year-old Frank Carmen Cirullo also of Summerfield, were spotted Wednesday by a neighbor when they pulled the U-Haul up to the home of Vansant’s mother in Belleview, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The pair took a Dremmel Drill, specifically because Vansant wanted to do her nails and did not want to buy one because they are too expensive, the arrest report said. They also took a large flat-screen TV, a chainsaw and a Ruger 9mm handgun.

After they drove the U-Haul away, they were stopped by law enforcement.

Cirullo is also facing charges of burglary and grand theft.

Both were booked at the Marion County Jail.

Vansant had been arrested last year at Wal-Mart in Summerfield. You can read more about that arrest HERE
