SUMMERHILL ACE JOHN BLODGETT TOSSES SHUTOUT

SUMMERHILL SINKS PIEDMONT 9-0;
SCHWENK & BRONTE HOT HITTERS

With solid pitching and some slick defense, John Blodgett led the Summerhill Seniors (2-1) to their second consecutive win. Gene Schwenk and Dave Bronte topped the Seniors offense with two and three rbi’s respectfully.  Wayne Johnston and Mark Muha also added three hits each.
Wally Dias dealt two hits for Piedmont (0-3).
