A 46-year-old man was arrested Monday morning after he was caught driving on a suspended license.

Robert Warren Johnson had been driving a white 2016 Ford F-250 at about 8:30 a.m. at State Road 44 and County Road 231 when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy ran the plate and discovered the vehicle’s owner’s license had been suspended.

Johnson, who lists an address at 8736 SE 165th Mulberry Lane Suite 1 in The Villages, lost his license after refusing to submit to a breath/urine test in May in Lee County, according to an arrest report.

He was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $500.
