Sumter County to hold meeting on County Road 501 Preliminary Engineering Study

Sumter County will conduct a public alternatives meeting for the County Road 501 Preliminary Engineering Study. The meeting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday June 3 at the Wildwood Community Center, 6500 Powell Road, in Wildwood.

There will be a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting is being held to offer the public an opportunity to discuss with county staff the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed project alternatives for the preliminary engineering study for the widening of CR 501 from County Road 470 to County Road 468 in Sumter County.
