One of the suspects in last year’s armed robbery at Evans Prairie Country Club bonded out of the Sumter County Detention Center Jan. 30 and is now behind bars in Lake County.

Keithen Rawlings, 23, of Wildwood, was one of four people arrested in connection with the June 16 armed robbery at the country club. He and two women arrested in the case had been employed there. He is facing charges of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery in Sumter County. Last December, he appeared before Judge William H. Hallman and won reduction in his bond to $50,000 on the armed robbery charge and $15,000 on the conspiracy charge.

Last week, Rawlings turned himself into Lake County law enforcement on a charge of resisting a law enforcement officer in a case dating back to February 2014. At the time, he was ordered to take part in a pre-trial intervention program and to complete community service. However, after the Evans Prairie armed robbery arrest, his participation in the pre-trial intervention program was revoked.

On Feb. 24, Rawlings appeared before Judge James R. Baxley in Lake County Court and was ordered to serve 15 days in the Lake County Jail.

Rawlings is due back in Sumter County Court on April 14.
