A pair of suspected shoplifters was found hiding in a bathroom Tuesday afternoon after fleeing on foot from Target.

Angela M. Kemerly, 38, of Ocala, was spotted loading electronics into a large purse while Nicholas A. Rosenbrier, 38, also of Ocala, acted as a lookout at the store at Rolling Acres Plaza, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A loss prevention officer approached the pair as they left the store with the merchandise. They fled in the direction of Kay Jewelers.

Lady Lake police joined in the chase and found the pair hiding in the bathroom of a nearby store.

The items taken had a value of $398.39. Both were arrested on charges of grand theft. Rosenbrier was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Both were booked at the Lake County Jail.
