Sheriff’s office looking for leads in murder of 24-year-old Lady Lake man

The body of a 24-year-old Lady Lake man was discovered Friday afternoon in a ditch on County Road 514 just outside of Coleman.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday identified the victim as Jack “Dom” Dominick Cattedra who lived in the Cove Apartments in Lady Lake. He was last seen at his home on Feb. 26.

“At this time the cause of death is not being released; however, the manner has been ruled a homicide. Detectives are currently pursuing all leads and hope that with the communities help, his killer can be brought to justice,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
