Suspicious incident reported after trio picks up eight pallets of animal feed at UPS Freight location in Ocala

A suspicious incident was reported after three men picked up an order of eight pallets of animal feed at Ocala UPS Freight.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies made contact with a UPS employee via telephone in reference to the incident.

The employee said that between 2 and 3 p.m. Wednesday, three men responded to the UPS Freight location to pick up an order of eight pallets of animal feed. The unknown subjects said they were there to pick up an order for a business. The employee removed the lock from the tractor trailer door and allowed the three men to load the pallets onto a gooseneck trailer, which was being pulled by a truck.

The employee advised that it seemed suspicious, so he looked up the address on the order slip. He then contacted his supervisor and was instructed to file a report.
