A 33-year-old tattoo artist arrested last month at Southern Trace in The Villages has been sentenced on marijuana charges.
Arthur James Crozier, who lives on Woodland Trail in Lady Lake, was pulled over March 22 by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy after the deputy noticed that Crozier was not wearing a seatbelt.
He was sentenced this past week in Sumter County Court to one year’s probation, ordered to perform 50 hours of community service and he will lose his driver’s license for a year. He will have to pay fines and court costs of $905.50. He entered a plea of no contest.
He was fined an additional $116 for not wearing a seatbelt.
