Tax collector announces policy change involving non-U.S. Citizens

Effective June 1, 2015 The Sumter County Tax Collector’s Office will require appointments for non-U.S. Citizens to apply for a Florida Driver’s License or Identification Card, Sumter County Tax Collector Randy Mask  has announced. The non-U.S. Citizen must be a Sumter County resident to schedule an appointment.

“This policy is being implemented to better serve the citizens of Sumter County in a more efficient manner,” Mask said in a news release.
